Stephen Lord is a contributor to the Bicycle Touring 101 web site. He is a British cyclist whose contibutions to Bicycle Touring 101 are becoming numerous and include two places to tour reports ( Touring the Western Coast of the USA and Touring Baja ), an equipment review ( Marmot Precip Rain Jacket ) and a Simple Meal Plan recipe. As time passes hopefully he will continue to share more information with this site.

I mention this because Stephen is undertaking an adventure similar to mine. Both of us are working with cyclists frorm all over the world to attempt to share the beauty, excitement and adventure of bicycle touring. I've chosen to use the wonderful and incredible internet to do this. The result is this web site. Stephen has decided to use the more traditional method of writing a book.

A questionnaire is available on his website that allows you to give him a bit of information about your bicycle touring adventures. He hopes to use this information to help people who read his book enjoy their very first touring adventure.

I think this is a noble endeavour that should be supported. With the interest that has been shown in the recent polls on the bicycle touring 101 web site I thought that perhaps others would be able to help him with his book and help to continue spreading the good word about bicycle touring!
