Bicycle Clubs that Tour!

Occassionally I will stumble across a bicycle touring club while surfing the internet or I will read a journal and realize that I am actually reading about a club adventure.

I have decided to create a section on the Bicycle Touring 101 web site where readers can go to read about bicycle touring clubs around the world so if you are a member of such a club please Contact Me so that a page can be created highlighting your club.

Here's what I will be looking for:

The name of your club
The URL of your club's web site if you have one. If there isn't a URL that's ok but you might like to provide me with Contact information that can be included in the article
Where is your club located geographically? Please try to include information at least to the country level since this is a site visited by people from all over the world.
Where can you find out more information about joining your club?
A list of at least a couple of tours that your club has done in the past. Please try to include info to the country level since this is a site visited by people from all around the world.
If possible a few pictures showing your club during a tour.
As a personal touch it would be nice to include at least a brief mention of a touring experience that you fondly recall while touring with your club.

Each club will have their own separate page. Hopefully with time the list of clubs will grow so that a visiting cyclist can perhaps join a ride with like minded cyclists.

Although not in any way a requirement it is my hope that if the bicycle touring club thinks that Bicycle Touring 101 is a helpful resource for their members then they will provide a link back to Bicycle Touring 101.
